In the event that you have damage during a storm here are some steps you can follow:

  1. If there is significant damage or life hazard call 911 immediately.
  2. Do the best that you can to protect your property from further damage without risking your safety.
  3. Take photographs of the damages.
  4. Set aside and inventory any damaged property.
  5. Keep an accounting of any costs or extra expenses that are incurred.
  6. We will report the claim to the claim servicing representative and will do what we can to get them assistance as soon as possible.
  7. Flooding, ie: water came through the foundation wall, is not covered, you should take whatever action necessary to protect your property.
